Her music is depressing- I don't like to listen to that.

I think she's okay. Here's my review:

"Don't Know Why" was good, I kinda liked it. But I didn't think it was worthy of 5 grammys, 1 grammy even.

When I saw "Come Away With Me", it was like *yawn*... It might be good for people who listen to that type of music, but that was a big bore for me, if this wins a grammy, I'll be stunned

But overall, people have said her album and her songs are great, so I guess she has talent. I have mixed feelings about her, though.

I think she deserved the Grammy more than most of the other artists she was up against. She has more talent and isn't really playing what's mainstream right now.

I *completely* agree with you, you're spot on. I was amazed that something going up against the really popular mainstream acts would beat them...and I'm glad. Norah Jones has the potential to be a bit hit, unfortunately I'm not sure if the general public is ready for her Ella-ish jazz.

I like Norah Jones. her music is a breath of fresh air. And I think she did deserve all those Grammys. I think she won them all because shes different, unique and simple. She doesnt seem to be too involved or concerned with all the glitz and glamour that comes along with fame. And shes talented.
