Default Real World Las Vegas: Alton Arrested

The Smoking Gun reports that current Real World Las Vegas houseguest Alton WIlliams, 23, was arrested early Saturday morning for assault and resisting arrest after trying to punch out a bar manager at a charity fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Charlotte, North Carolina.

At the event, Real World Las Vegas houseguests Alton, Steven, Trishelle and Brynn were the special celebrity guests, acting as bartenders and signing autographs. Alton apparently became riled after deciding that he was being paraded around like a "sideshow freak" and ended up in a heckling match with guests at the fundraiser. When the management tried to quiet him down, he threw a punch at a manager and ended up being escorted to jail by the police.

The link below includes his mug shot...

And I thought he was doing so well on the show with Irulan and stuff. He's got to get his act together....

He forgot to think about his mother when he was arguing.

Poor Alton, he was such a good kid at first.

BTW, did anyone read the other charges towards the other two cast members?! Steven smacked a girl after she said "our relationship can't work because you are a homosexual." ...LOL

Funny you should mention that. Months ago MTV news reported that Steven actually had warrants for theft AND prostitution! They give some details about the theft but didn't know much about the prostitution. They even said they weren't sure if he was soliciting a prostitute or was prostituting himself!

I'm not 100% positive but I think Stephen was prostituting himself, not just picking up.

I think you're right. I looked on a couple websites and they alluded to that. I haven't heard about him since a while ago though, and those websites were dated. I wonder what he was convicted with. I think the theft charges were dropped to misdemeanors, but the prostitution, I'm not sure how that went down. Basically, the dude is trippin'. That whole season was so disappointing to me and I wanted it to be cool since I live in WA state. The whole "highlight" was the slap. Over and over again it played. UGH.

In a weird way, I think the best thing for Stephen may have been to get arrested for prostitution because I think he's probably too ashamed to participate in any future Real World events. He seriously needs to stay away from those events because those people don't like or respect him and they've pegged him as an easy to pick on pushover. They can smell his insecurity and they're not the most sympathetic bunch. Whenever he's with the other contestants whether it be at a challenge or reunion or what have you, he's overly loud and aggressive trying to compensate for that nagging feeling in his gut that tells him "these people can't stand me." A lot of times when people feel that way it is just paranoia speaking, but I'm afraid in this case...Stephen is right. Those people really don't care for him and it's not a healthy environment for him to be in. He was gonna crack someday if he continued throwing himself in the mix with them. It's better he just stays away and tries to put MTV behind him.

You're so right. I forgot all about one challange show he did until you mentioned it. Not attending anymore of those things is the best thing for him. I can't think of any other cast member from either Real World or Road Rules that has been outright ostracized by all the others when they really didn't deserve it. You got it right--about him being overly loud and agressive because he knows how those people really view him.

And about the hitting, sure that's not cool, but from what I saw of Irene, that B%&$# had it coming! Obviously it would have been better if he hadn't done it, but Irene could sure push buttons. And obviously it didn't hurt her--the fruitcake burst out laughing. How many times has someone on these shows hit someone before? Stephen's is the only one who has been remembered so much. Is it because he's a guy? And now people from these reunion shows and challanges treat him like dirt.
