'Days' Stars Make Some 'Friends' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Several real stars of NBC's soap opera "Days of Our Lives" will make an appearance on "Friends" next month with their fake co-star, Joey Tribbiani.

In the episode, Joey (Matt LeBlanc), who plays Dr. Drake Ramorey on the "Friends" version of "Days," will attend a rooftop party with his castmates, reluctantly bringing along soap fans Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Monica (Courteney Cox Arquette).

"Days" regulars Kyle Lowder, Matthew Ashford, Farah Fath and Alexis Thorpe will appear as themselves. The episode is scheduled to air Thursday, April 24.

"It's easy to talk about synergy, harder to achieve it," says Sheraton Kalouria, senior vice president of NBC Daytime. "The fans of both 'Friends' and 'Days' are going to get a real kick out of this."

The episode will also introduce former "Talk Soup" host Aisha Tyler as Charlie Wheeler, a new love interest for both Ross (David Schwimmer) and Joey. Ross brings Charlie, a fellow paleontologist, to the party but is cowed when she talks about her former boyfriends, most of whom are more accomplished than him.
