Default Clapping & Screaming

How come at a beginning of a scene in this show the audience went crazy? They didn't do that on other live audience shows.

I'd be screaming too if I got to see Fonzie and Potsie in person. My mom did meet Henry Winkler back in the 70s. I hate her.

Oh, I can DEFINITELY say that I'd be screaming and clapping if I was sitting in a Happy Days audience.

Your Mom met Henry? Oh, wow! You've got to tell us about that encounter!

The closest I came to meeting a celebrity was meeting Shaniah Twain. We pulled up at a toll booth at the exact same time her limo pulled up, and then we rode fairly side-by-side down the interstate. So, that was pretty cool. All that time, though, I was thinking, "I want to go see Henry in NY!!!" Shaniah definitely wasn't as satisifying as seeing Henry, but still a pretty cool experience.

When I was little I used to be friends (she was like a summer coordinator for our youth program) with an Olympic winning basketball player, but I wouldn't classify her as a celebrity.

Yep. She met him. She was a teenager. He was on a tour thingy and he came to the mall by where she lived, so she went to meet him. Well, anyway she was one of the last people to meet him and so he talked to her a few minutes and then they took their picture and it was in the paper the next day and stuff. Next time I go to my grandma's I will try to find the autographed pic she has of him and see if they kept the newspaper picture of him and my mom.

I've thought about this alot, and noticed that as the show progressed and got more popular the screaming when certain people entered (like Fonzie or Chachi, even Mr. C) became insane! I think I'd be off the wall too...I can see it now:

We're all sitting in the front row at a Happy Days taping (older episode).

*Fonzie walks out, everybody claps. The clapping dies down*

CG: *Piercing the silence* WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! FONZIE, YOU'RE MY MAN!

*Potsie walks out*

Potsie: Hey Fon--

Daisy: MARRY ME, POTSIE!!!!

*The actors exchange glances, then continue on*

Potsie: Hey, Fonz. Have you seen Ralph?

Ralph: Here I am, Pot--

Tuscadero: I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUU! *Throws panties at him*

Ralph: Um....*Puts underwear in pocket* Um, here I am, Potsie.

*Chachi enters*

Katie: CHACHI, CHACHI, CHACHI!!! I WANT TO HAVE YOUR CHILD!

Chad and TF storm the stage when Daphne appears, EFD kidnaps Linda Purl, and we're one giant cheering section.

Can't you just see it? If they ever do a reunion, and we're there, we need to be careful.

I would never kidnap a hot girl.I wouldn't mind them kidnapping me.

Was that the I Love Lucy episode that was on TV LAND recently, Ralph Malph Ricardo? The one that Lucy had eggs in her shirt and Ricky squashed them becuase they were doing the tango. The eggs being squashed caused the longest laugh in I Love Lucy ever.TV LAND said that before the episode first came on.They said part of the laughter was edited out because it was so long.I don't know if the audience was calmed down.TV LAND didn't say.

How about, EFD is found with LP in her dressing room!? LOL.

Lucy elicits some pretty loud laughter....if I had ever been in that audience, I would have been *dying*

Don't worry, EFD...what Tuscadero meant to write was.......

Daphne comes out and Chad and TF storm the stage

CG runs up and kidnaps Fonzie....*huffing and puffing* "Dat's a one heavy boy! "

Linda Purl walks out and EFD screams "Linda, YOU'RE MY WOMAN! I WANT TO HAVE YOUR CHILD!!"

Yea, I heard in the episode Lucy Does The Tango, they had to edit the scene where she and Ricky danced and delete some of the laughing! They still hold the record for longest continuous laughing audience or however you wanna say it LOl.

Yah, I noticed too that Happy Days got all the screaming! Probably because The Fonz was on (And later..Chachi..and Roger..) and he was the coolest thing back then. Er..I mean NOW! They also screamed on Laverne & Shirley. Id scream on both shows!! LOl.
