Default Upside Down N@N Schedule

Wouldn't be a good idea if N@N starts to do "switch-a-roo" every other day in order every show can at least be played while everyone is mostly awake.

For example:

N@N's normal April schedule looks like this-
9:00PM Cosby Show (1 hour)
10:00PM Cheers (1 hour)
11:00PM Wings (1 hour)
12:00AM Cosby Show (1 hour)
1:00AM Cheers (1 hour)
2:00AM Coach (1 hour)
3:00AM Three's Company
3:30AM All in the Family
4:00AM Perfect Strangers
4:30AM Head of the Class
5:00AM Family Ties (1 hour)

If they changed every other day-
9:00- Family Ties (1 hour)
10:00- Head of The Class
10:30- Perfect Strangers
11:00- All In The Family
11:30- Three's Company
12:00- Coach (1 hour)
1:00- Cheers (1 hour)
2:00- Cosby Show (1 hour)
3:00- Wings (1 hour)
4:00- Cheers (1 hour)
5:00- Cosby Show (1 hour)

I really like this idea.

(I just realized that "Charles In Charge" isn't on the weeday schedule )

I think cutting down on the number of episodes from each show might be a better idea. They could show more of a variety. One episode a night of each TV show should be plenty.

And it'll take longer to finish the series, making you enjoy your show much better. Say you have 209 episodes, you could enjoy that show for about 6 - 7 months.

Exactly. Or have two different rotations, giving you the opportunity to not watch the same rotation constantly. I truly do not mind them adding modern hits, not at all, but they are handling it very badly. Wings for sure will be treated like crap once Roseanne comes, and even that will probably move on down the ladder when Full House comes (where are they even going to air FH? Not that I care, but the 8pm hour is long gone, and there is no way N@N would give up the 9pm slot Cosby forever holds).

Anyway, I think the schedule should go more like this: (I'm JUST using the shows Nick@Nite has)

8:00PM Charles in Charge
8:30PM Head of the Class
9:00PM The Cosby Show
9:30PM Family Ties
10:00PM Perfect Strangers
10:30PM Wings
11:00PM Cheers
11:30PM Coach
12:00AM Three's Company
12:30AM All in the Family
1:00AM The Cosby Show
1:30AM Family Ties
2:00AM Perfect Strangers
2:30AM Wings
3:00AM Cheers
3:30AM Coach
4:00AM Three's Company
4:30AM All in the Family
5:00AM Charles in Charge
5:30AM Head of the Class

With that lineup, I wouldn't complain. I'm pretty sure every show has two airings.

How the hell are they gonna show Roseanne? If I remember correctly, Roseanne handled some serious stuff. We aren't talking cutesy wootsy in a shiny little box, with a fancy bow on top. How are they gonna show her show?

I've been pondering that myself, lol. Odds are it will be edited down to death, or placed at like 2:00am. As much as I like Roseanne (yes, people, I think it's funny, lol), I really truly can not fathome why N@N would add this. Full House I can see, it's the Brady Bunch of the 90s, and it fits, but Roseanne? You can't really compare All in the Family to Roseanne, but if N@N can air AITF (which I still think belongs on TV Land, I'm glad it's staying on N@N but was ticked at the same time, lol, I wanted it back on TVL), I guess they can air Roseanne. I think it will get late night only though.

I haven't watched Roseanne in years, but I'm trying to imagine myself in the shoes of a Roseanne fan. I'm over here dying of excitement because Roseanne is coming to N @ N. I am very disappointed, maybe a little pissed, if it gets a graveyard time slot.

I will be even more disappointed if the show is edited to pieces.
Hey, edits are no fun. Editing is just like split screen. Editing is just like voice over. Editing is just like those pop up advertisements for another show that pops up when you're watching another show. All are annoying. What's really the point in watching something that is so cut up, and hell, I bet they won't even show every episode. What's the fun in that? Forget recording. I won't even get every episode probably. Screw that, I'm watching my Roseanne TBS episodes. Forget that chopped up mess.
