I watched the UM story a few days ago about the little girl, Joan Gay Croft, who disappeared after a tornado unexpectedly hit her home town over 50 years ago. She was taken out of the makeshift shelter by two men and was never seen again. Her relatives are still looking for her and by surfing the web I found this story at:
http://www.ardmoreite.com/stories/04...ws/news06.html Its an interview with one of the relatives and she said that lots of women have contacted them over the years thinking that they're the girl. She said one lead in Canada seems very promising that it could be the girl they've been searching for all this time and this girl was even raised with the first and middle name Joann Gay. She also claims (even though an aunt has possession of them right now) to have a picture that was signed "O. Croft" which would have been her father. There are other coincidences also. Unfortunately the article was from 5 years ago and I couldn't find any further update to know if they've found her or not. Nevertheless, its a very interesting article about this fascinating case! |
