Was this a Mama's Family episode?? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I am a big fan of Mama's Family and watch the reruns all the time on TBS. My favorites are the later episodes when Iola and Bubba joined the show but I still like them all.

My question is this. I was visiting a website called Jump the Shark, a site devoted to bad moments in shows where people can write in comments good and bad about a show.

I was checking out the Mama's Family page and someone had posted a funny episode involving Bubba. Supposedly, Bubba had sex with some girl and tried to flush the condom down the toilet but it must have gotten stuck. The poster quoted lines from Iola and Mama. I don't remember THAT episode!!

Unless because it was a bit controversial, TBS decided not to air it in reruns. I do not remember this episode but perhaps someone else does. Can someone help me out and let my know if this was for real or not. Thanks.

I have recorded every episode off TBS and have never seen that one! Yes, maybe they just didn't show it. I just can't feature this moment on Mama's Family especially 13 years ago!

I don't believe it!

I checked the episode guide on Matt Freier's Mama's Family site and I recognize every episode. I certainly don't remember any "condom" incident in any of those! I think someone is pulling our legs!

I didn't think it was true either. It seemed so outrageous! But I know that sometimes networks edit for time and content and sometimes episodes go unaired.

But thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one who thought this was bogus!

Aren't those people on jumptheshark real goons sometimes? I read the comment on the website too. The crazy things people will put on that website is unbelievable!

Morons is more like it! I also read some silly post there about the Waltons. Some person made up a storyline about Grandpa humping a cow . Really moronic! Must have been the same idiot who posted this thing about the condom! What a bunch of jerks!
