Default Name some good things that Nick has done.

Okay most people are absolutely annoyed by the Nick character. But there are some things that he did good in the story, name some.

Thumbs up

One good thing he did was in the episode where Mallory didn't want to go to college he told her that he thought that she should go to college. So, he isn't a bad guy. He has some sense in him. He's also creative in his artwork, even if he made things out of garbage.

I think that Nick would have been a more interesting character if he were more mentally stimulating. For instance, we had Alex who, as shallow and self-absorbed as he can be, was challenged by Ellen, who was an independent thinker and into things completely different than what he was into. Nick seems like a nice guy, and the starving artist arc was a good idea. Not to stereotype, but artists/art students (the ones I've encountered) tend to be deep thinkers, and that would have been something good for Mallory...and the parents would have loved him. It's too bad that they made him a complete dunce which made it seem like Mallory had no standards when it comes to who she dates.

I think there were many good things about Nick, but one of his best traits is his patience, and his level headedness. In the episode where Mallory said she needed some space, and she started dating Colin Spencer, Nick didn't get the least bit jealous. He just walked out the door, and gave her all the space she needed, and that was that. He kept his pride by not making a jealous spectacle of himself and in the end Mallory was the one who wanted him back. Most people would have been insanely jealous, and angry about a girlfriend, or boyfriend wanting to see other people, but not Nick. I think that Nick's reaction to Mallory wanting to see another man was very admirable and mature of him. Not alot of people would have reacted that well. I also thought Nick was very good with kids which was apparent in the episode where he taught an art class to children. Those are just a couple of Nick's various good traits.

He creates art and reads with Andy.

I guess he has an identity, as well... he's not afraid to be himself.

He was ok. I Liked him and felt sorry for him in the episode where his dog dies. I Think his character is decent, But anyone else think hes a bit of a Dumb Fonzie Ripoff? They dressed the same and he even ripped off Fonzie's 'AYYYY" but said it differently.
