Keeping a Partner - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hey guys, this is my first attempt at writing a fan fiction and if it sucks, I’m sorry.
It’s mostly a C.D./Nate fan fiction, but everyone else is in it as well. Some of the stuff in the story you will probably recognize from the shows (Comments, etc) So I’ll say right now, I credit the characters and many of the comments to the show
Oh yeah and another thing, lol..Im not too good on how police business runs, so if it doesn’t sound realistic, Im really sorry. Well, hope you enjoy, lol!

Chapter 1

Inspector Raina Washington smiled as she ran inside the Anchorside Bar and Grill straight to where Inspector C.D. De Lorenzo and Inspector Nate Basso were sitting. “You guys, I found it. I found it!” she exclaimed happily, as she plopped down next to them. “You always find something, don’t you?” C.D. asked smirking. “As a matter of fact I do and right now it’s very important, it’s concerning your case. I got a call saying they found a license plate dumped in a dumpster one mile away from where Kaley Drake’s body was found. Then when I ran a computer scan on it, it showed up to be the license plate of your number one suspect,” Raina answered proudly, as she leaned back in the booth. “Craig Heeley?” Nate asked, raising his eyebrows. “That’s the one,” Raina answered, as both C.D. and Nate stood up. “Oh and by the way, they are also checking the plate for fingerprints. We should get the results in an hour,” she added on, as C.D. blew out a breath. “We’ll go get him and take him in for questioning yet again, but for some reason I know this time he wont be leaving,” she said, as she and her partner walked toward the door.
Inspector Jinny Exstead yawned as she sat in the front seat of her car watching a suspicious looking man who many people liked to call “toughy.” “What kind of name is toughy?” she asked, as she turned her eyes to her partner, Inspector Magda Ramirez. “I don’t know, but obviously he must be pretty tough if thats what everyone wants to call him. Though, after we are through with him, he’ll be known as weakling,” she answered, chuckling at her joke. “Well he hasn’t done anything yet, what makes you think he will?” Jinny asked, taking a long sip of her cold coffee. “Be patient Jinny, patient,” Magda answered, as Jinny yawned again. “I’m so tired today, I wish I would have slept better,” she said, rubbing her eyes. “Was Teddy over last night?” Magda asked, as Jinny smiled childishly. “Shut up,” she answered, as she playfully hit her partner’s arm. “We both need to before we lose our guy,” Magda said, as she went back to looking out the window. Jinny smiled a little and then turned and did the same.
