Default What Sitcom have you had in your collection the longest?

I have had Married with Children on tape since 1993. I guess that means I cherish all MWC episodes. Anybpdy else have a sitcom on tape for lon period of time?

I have episodes of ALF that my mom taped for me when I was little. They're from 1989, I think.

Werm well the oldest thing I ever taped was 90210 for my mom in the mid 90s, lol. The first thing that I liked that I taped was I Love Lucy, even though it's not one of my favorite shows. I think I taped it on accident, because I didn't know about it until I was looking through some old things a few weeks ago lol. Other then that the first thing I started taping was Gilligan's Island off Nick-at-Nite.

I taped "Batman" off of the Family Channel back in 1989. That was the first show I ever taped. However, the tapes didn't last. The show that I taped after that was "X-Men" in 1992. I only taped the first season, and I still have that tape. I also have "Taxi" episodes from 1996.

When I was little, my sister and I had an episode of Punky Brewster on tape that we watched all the time. We watched it so much we had the whole episode memorized. Anyway, I think my parents still have that tape somewhere with all our kids movies, (Mary Poppins, The Ugly Dashund, and Pete's Dragon) that we taped off the Disney Channel.

Life Goes On. I have a tape that has several original ABC Aired episodes.

I used to have more...but alas I now don't.

The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour has been in my collection the longest. I began to tape it in March of 1997. Soon after TLDCH, was I Love Lucy. My first taping of ILL occured on Saturday, July 19th, 1997 and the episode that I taped was #163- "Little Ricky's School Pagent". I continued to tape ILL throughout the rest of the late 90's into the early 00's. Now, I have every episode of each series.

I don't have any on tapes. I always say I'll record my favorite episodes, but being a poor college student, I can't afford new blank tapes.
