Stop! In The Name Of Law!

OK. I don’t think it’s the longest running crime drama ever, but do you think “Law and Order” will remain on NBC for years to come with all those short-lived sitcoms and reality shows? Or do you think they’ll add more sequels of it right next to “Criminal Intent” and “Special Victims Unit”?

I’m not sure if I’m correct but L&O is probably the only show currently on NBC to have over 200 episodes. Now this time, I am talking current, not shows from the past.

There’s something that I’d like to know about. Is L&O the highest rated crime-drama on NBC? One thing that I do know is that “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” is the most watched crime-drama on CBS. Any why is it that L&O has two other spin-off series and “CSI” now has that “CSI: Miami” spin-off. WoW. As my dad says, “TV is not the same as it used to be”. I do indeed agree with him. And you know, I may have said that before.

I’m not sure how long NBC has renewed it, but over at the Tim’s TV Showcase site, it has stated to us that it has been renewed through May of 2005.

Does anyone think L&O will still be on after 2005? I’m pretty sure that it does so good in ratings.

It’s possible that you may know this by now, but for the first three seasons, all the people (of “Law” and “Order) were all male cast members.

It featured people like Michael Moriarty, Chris Noth, Richard Brooks, George Ddunzda, Paul Sorvino, Dann Florek, and Steven Hill. As you may know, Dann has returned his role as Don Kragen on “L&O: SVU”. And now during it’s first 10 seasons, Steven Hill had definitely been the only original cast member left. And now he’s 81 years old and was last seen in commercials for TD Waterhouse. He’s still doing then you know.

All that I’m wondering is that if Benjamin Bratt is still obsessed with Julia Roberts? And will Jerry Orbach remain on the show until it’s, or maybe he’s done? I dunno.

I think Law & Order is one of those shows that will still be on the air long after regular life on Earth has ended.

ER doesn't have 200 episodes yet. It will by the end of the season though.

Someone please answer that question for the Chit Chat Pest. Then, maybe, he'll retire from Pest.com.

I highly doubt that Benjamin Bratt is obsessed with Julia Roberts. He must have fond memories from their 4 years together, but he's moved on. He has a wife and a child now.
