Andy Versus Oliver - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I watched the premeire of "Oliver Beene" tonight. First off, I hated it. But there were many things that reminded me of ARCTU. It was like a kid version. Oliver had dream sequences that were set up just like Andy's, where he always pictures the worst of what could happen, then it goes back to "reality". If Andy Richter doesn't come back, I will never watch FOX again. Every show I watched on FOX got screwed.

-Get A Life
-Sliders
-Ned & Stacey
-Opposite Sex
-The Tick

and now
-Andy Richter Controls the Universe

I also typed something about ARCTU on the Oliver Beene site.

I didn't even bother watching Oliver Beene. It sounded like a Malcolm in the Middle rip-off to me. I'm not too crazy about Malcolm. Andy Richter is much better.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. If FOX is going to let Oliver stay and make Andy go then I will be really pi$$ed.

I forgot to even watch it. To me, its a rip off of The Wonder Years and Malcom..and both those shows are good so they should remain untouched. I WANT ANDY!!

I Like Oliver actually. Although i do wish Andy Richter would come back. Fox should just cancel one of their Reality Shows and bring in Andy. The Simpsons, Oliver, Malcolm and Andy would be a good Sunday Line up to me.

Maybe I didn't give "Oliver" a chance, because it's on Sundays and I feel like it's replacing "Andy Richter." But I have noticed a few things about "Oliver Beene" that are like "Andy Richter", and for OB to be #14 in the ratings, while ARCTUr was in the 80's, just gets me mad.
