Question What Would You Have Done?

The two top reds on the show decide to cool it in Greenland. If you were a producer, how would you have covered Richie's and Ralph's absence? Would you have brought in Roger? Kept Fonzie's pad? Kept LB as an Arnold's waitress/offscreen Richie GF? Or just dumped the whole thing and let folks imagine on their own WEHT the HD'ers?

If Richie and Ralph had left despite my "urging" them to stay (read: tying them to Inspiration Point), I would have....
A. Tried with all my heart to make them gradually disappear
B. Make them mention them all the time so it won't feel like they're all forgotten about
C. Gotten a restraining order for Ted McGinley preventing him from coming within 500 ft of my studio
D. Carried on the Joanie/Chachi romance
E. Sent Lori Beth packing to Greenland
F. Sent Jenny packing to a convent
G. Give Potsie a starring role

Or....I would just end the show...

I Would have payed them alot of money to do the 8th Season premiere so they would have a proper fairwell to the show. Roger would have definitely came on, Roger is great! Roger would move in with Potsie and Potsie would have a bigger role. Lori Beth would have gone to Greenland.

Question What I would have done

Ron Howard and Donny Most want off the show? I would have begged them to stay as well, but if they really wanted to go - (God Bless them), they have added so much to the show and have earned the right to move on. Many people would not have replaced them and God knows that there are no real replacements for them. But to do just nothing (not to add other characters), would have left such a massive hole in the series. I think Ted (Roger) found his place in Married With Children. Not saying that he's a bad actor, but he was darn good in Married With Children. I also agree with focusing more on Joanie and Chachi - they were great together.

I wouldve made Potsie a starring role also. I mean.. he was on the whole series and yet Roger got more claps? Nuh uh-- aint happening! Roger wouldve came on, but he would never be the Richie replacement. He also wouldnt have been so boring. LB and Richie would never have gotten married, therefor she'd be gone... Arnolds wouldve stayed the same, but since it had to be re-done, it wouldnt have been made to be so dark and bar-ry. I mean seriously, it looked like a pub! Ugh. Richie and Ralph wouldve made more cameos leaving the mustache in Greenland. Spike wouldve come back also. Actually, what I wouldve done was bring back Chuck!! Forget Roger, just bring back Chuck. They just wouldve made some excuse that he was off in college or whatever..but yah, I think if Chuck had've come back it'd be good! LOl
