I first watched it on my spring break last year because there was nothing else on. At first, I only watched because I had a thing for Bobby.
Then I realized the show was really funny, and I was hooked.

I remember watching it in kindergarten with my Mom late at night. But the only thing I remember about the show then, was thinking of how Christopher Lloyd wasn't in every episode. Then when Nick at Nite brought "Taxi" to their lineup, I tuned in here and there. But was not a big fan. Then, in the Christmas of 1996, I started taping "Taxi". I use to watch it all day and all night. Around 1998, is when I stopped watching it. Because that's when "NewsRadio" went into syndication, and started watching that all the time. I worked during the whole run on TNN, and on TV Land, I didn't really watch it. Just recently I got my old tapes out and started watching the show again. Remembering how great this show really was.

I watched it sometimes with my mom when I was little. I thought Louie was hysterical. When TV Land started airing reruns about a year or so ago, I started watching again. Unfortunately, they took them off both on TV Land and locally, so I can't watch right now

I mostly started watching it because I wanted to see the episodes with Christopher Lloyd. So my dad bought the Season 2 and I just watched the episodes that mostly focused on Jim, but now I have been watching all the other ones and I like it alot.

I used to watch it in the mid 80's when I was a little kid but I didn't become a big fan of the show until Nick at Nite had the Taxi Appreciation Week marathon in the fall of '94. After that, I was hooked and it's been one of my favorite shows ever since.

I watched it off and on when it originally aired and then I got into it again when it was on Nick At Nite.

I was almost 14 and I had just seen the movie Grease. I really liked the actor who played Kenickie (sp?). I knew that he was in Taxi, so I began watching it. I got hooked and have been a fan ever since.

I first started watching it during the easter hoildays of this year. I was going though the channels and I started to watch the opening theme, which I enjoy and then I saw Danny Devito and Christopher Lloyds name in the credits, so I though I'd watch it and I've been a fan ever since.

I started watching it when I was a kid during its' original run and I loved it back then and I've been a fan ever since. I have the shows on DVD now and I laugh just as hard now as I did 30 years ago or whenever it was first on. I think it truly is a classic. Louie is one of the all-time classic characters.

I liked Latka a lot too. I think that Taxi "jumped the shark" when Latka started becoming that "Joe Cool" character instead of being the lovable cute little mechanic. IMHO, that ruined the show.

I started watching it right from the pilot episode, back in 1978 and have been hooked ever since. I remember though, I thought it went off back in 1984, since I wouldn't see it listed. But then, a couple years later, I got a book about the show for my birthday, and when I read it I was surprised to find out that it went on for a couple years after that! And, it had also had a couple Christmas episodes (I thought they only had one, in the first season)
But, in it's last couple seasons, when it moved to NBC from ABC, they had kicked it around a lot on their schedule. |

I started watching it in reruns the summer of 1993. It came on right after the nightly news.
