Post How Old Would They Be Now?

If they were all still living, how old would they be?

Lucy would be 89
Desi would be 84
Vivian would be 91
William would be an astronomical 114!
and the kid who played Little Ricky is 50

dawsongirl, I hate to disagree with you because you seem to know more than I do, and that's a lot, but from all accounts Vivian Vance was younger than Lucy. Check out the World Almanac, which actually says that they were born in the same year. I've never read that Lucy was younger (she only played a younger character on ILL)

Here is the years when they were born:

Lucy: 1911.
Ricky: 1917.
Ethel: 1909.
Fred: 1887.
Little Ricky: 1950.

Vivian Vance was born in 1909, so she is in fact older than Lucille Ball who was born in 1911. I know this is true because it says so in Vivian's biography.

Well, I guess I'm outnumbered. Everything I have always read said that Lucy was older but played a younger character in the show. I guess the World Almanac is wrong.

I haven't read Vivian Vance's biography.

I always thought that Vivian was younger than Lucy too. I thought I read somewhere that is why Lucy was so jealous of her. Lucy wanted her to look like an old maid and made her gain weight and stuff. I could be wrong though.

For years amd years everyone thought that Viv was younger than Lucy. Most thought she was born around 1912. Then someone uncovered her birth cirtificate and found that she indeed was born in 1909.

As far as what Jenny said about Lucy being jealous, what I understand is that Lucy was getting to look old on camera and since Lucy Ricardo was supposed to be so much younger than Ethel, she had Viv look dumpy so she would look younger. They also had the lighting people and the makeup people do tricks so that Lucille would look younger on camera.
