I just recently remembered an UM case where a family was on a cruise and their 2 teenage (or early 20's) kids were with them. The kids decided to crash out on the balcony after a night of partying. When the brother awoke the next morning his sister was gone. I think they suspected someone from the band that had played that night? Anyone ever hear of an update?

Thanks for the link. What a bummer that there is no update. I wonder if its normalll in international waters to have a "botched" investigation? Sad...sad...sad....

Strange..also, is the fact that the website states that Amy was seen leaving the cabin with her cigarettes and lighter and the family wonders where she was going, BUT from what I remember on UM, the last time she was seen was asleep on the stateroom balcony with her cigarettes and lighter next to her. Those are very pointed differences if you ask me.......

Asleep on the balcony? I've never been on a cruise ship before. Could she have fallen overboard?

They said it was very, very unlikely, as the balcony walls were too high to justify a wall. She and her brother had been partying and Iwhen they came back to the room decided to sit out on the balcony to smoke and catch some zzz's (fresh air probably felt good if they'd been drinking) and obvioulsy you cant smoke in the room so...I've never been on a cruise either so I dont know if thats a normal thing to do??? Certainly makes me think twice about getting a room with a blacony if I ever DO go on a cruise...
