Jason Kidd may be going to the Spurs next season - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

There is a lot of talk about Kidd going to the Spurs since hs contract is up after this season. If that happens, The Nets will become the New Jersey Nats!!!!!-LOL . They will be in the same boat as Cleveland.

Jason Kidd ain't going nowhere. I was watching the Spurs & Nets game tonight. They were saying Jason was looking around in the San Antonio area seeing where his son might go to school. If Jason was smart, he'd stay with the Nets. He has a good situation going there. He should finish his career with them. The Spurs aren't never getting rid of Tony Parker. If they do, they're some damn fools. Tony outplayed Jason tonight. Tony had 21 points. Jason struggled all night & when he struggles, the Nets play terrible.

The Nets would be stupid to not try and re-sign him. I think he'll stay in New Jersey.

Not if New Jersey get put out in the first round. If they don't reach the 2nd round of the playoffs-Say goodbye to Jason Kidd

The Spurs have a great 20 year old point guard in Tony Parker, Jason Kidd is a great player but I don't see him going to the Spurs.

If KIdd gets a great offer from a great team lke the Spurs, do you really think he is going to say no and stay with a team that just got eliminated out of the first round ?

Do you really think the Nets will lose in the first round? No way they are going to lose to somebody like Washington or Milwaukee. The East is wide open, and team that makes it could make it to the Finals.

Well NJ proved to the World that they are the Cavaliers on the road and the Kings at home. The Nets are only 2 games ahead of the sixers so if the nEts are not leading the Atlantic at the end season, They will be a 3 or 4 seed and the Nets will be in trouble. If they don't win one out of these two games this weekend against the Rockets and Hornets, the Nets can kiss the division lead goodbye. So there is nothing that i'm seeing that makes me believe that the Nets are going to the second round.

Solomon whatever weed u smoking, u need to leave it alone. New Jersey isn't gonna get beat in the first round & i believe they'll make it back to the 3rd round this yr or maybe go to the finals again cause as we all know, the east is wide open. I believe either the Nets, Indiana, Detroit can make the finals this yr. I would like to see Milwaukee make the finals, i'm a big fan of Tim Thomas, Michael Redd, Sam Cassell, Gary Payton, Desmond Mason. I wish Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson, Vin Baker were still there. Jason Kidd isn't gonna leave the Nets after this season. I betcha he finishes his career with them. If he doesn't, he's a damn fool. The Nets don't really need Mutombo, he should've stayed in Philly. Philly could really use his shot blocking cause that would make them a threat to a lot of teams in the playoffs. Philly is playing very well right now with the addition of Tyrone Hill back on their squad. They beat Seattle last night 108-99 & they beat Portland badly thursday night 88-60. Iverson had 40 last night & had 30 something against Portland. Portland is a up & down team, they truly are sad to watch sometimes. With all that talent they got, i can't believe they took a ass whipping like that to Philly in Portland.

NJ is playing like they still having a 9 game lead in the division. Not realizing that boston and philly are directly behind them. So what has NJ done since the All-Star break to make u believe they will get out of the first round?

Indiana & Detroit right now are tied for the best record in the east. New Jersey is 2nd at 38-24. Just because Philly & Boston are closing in on the Nets doesn't mean nothing. Regular season means nothing, u should know that by now. The Nets will turn it up another notch in the playoffs watch. They gotta get some more scoring out of Rodney Rogers. They also need to play Chris Childs a lot more. Chris looked like he's picked up some weight. I heard the Nets might waive him cause Anthony Johnson has been playing real well at backup point guard. When Mutombo gets back, the Nets really are gonna be a force to be reckoned with.

It's real simmple, Jason Kidd will leave because he has no help. No offensive options. Plus the nets are a team that drives to the basket and only score points off rebounds and turnovers. So besides Jason Kidd, who else can shoot jumpshots?

Solomon i'm not gonna continue to have this back & forth conversation with u. Who cares if the Nets don't have anybody that can shoot jumpers. The Spurs only have a few players who can shoot real well from the outside. The Spurs always have a great regular season & then when the playoffs come, they choke. We've seen it happen time & time again. Jason ain't leaving the Nets, i guarantee u that. The Spurs aren't gonna get rid of Tony Parker. Tony Parker is the future for that team. What sense would it make to have him & Jason playing together? I wish the Spurs would get rid of some players when the season is over with such as Steve Smith, Steve Kerr, Kevin Willis's old ass. I hate it when old guys like Kevin Willis think they can play forever. It's like he's scared of retirement. I'm glad David Robinson is quitting after this season cause ever since Tim Duncan joined the team, he's been playing like a ho. When David first came to the Spurs, he was the man & now all of a sudden he's gonna stop shooting as much cause Tim is there. What a ho.
