Default Does anyone else here besides me watch the NFL Draft?

I love to watch the NFL Draft, and I haven't missed a pick since 1993, so I guess you can say I'm addicted to it. I do alot of research on the team needs and the prospects avaliable for the draft particualry Big 12 prospects, and I also pay attention to Vikings and Steelers picks.

So do any of you watch it all or atleast watch some of it?

I watch for the Lions picks. I won't be able to watch this year because I'll be on a cruise. I just hope they take Rogers though.

Yeah the Lions appear to be ready to take Charles Rogers with there first selection, I was looking up some Mock drafts and they said Detriot, needs a playmaker on offense and they don't really have any other options for the first round. So I'm prettty sure thats who they will get. Man the Lions could be tough with Joey Harrington and Charles Rogers, now if they get a good running back, there offense could be dangerous next year.

I know, I have a feeling next season will be a big improvement from the last one.

Oh I know I think the Lions and Vikings will both give the Packers a run for there money next year. Detriot's got a good coach and alot of young talented players, they could be the sleeper team next year and the Vikings won there final three games last year, now if they could just get a defense they could be unstopable, because they already have a powerful offense.

Well from what I'm hearing the Steelers, will probably take Mike Doss, saftey from Ohio St. , and we Steeler fans know they need big help in the secondary, or if Mike Doss is off the board they may draft an offenseive lineman.

Well the NFL draft is about 1 month away adn there are a lot of interesting senarios playing out. The Vikings may trade there 7th overall choice to the Saints for there two first round choices 17th and 18th overall, the Steelers are still looking at Mike Doss or an offensive lineman. The Bengals are still very uncertin who to take with the 1st overall choice and they may even trade out of the number 1 spot. Detroit is all bu tset to take Charles Rogers, WR, from Michigan St. This draft is going to be one of the most interesting ever. I can't wait to watch it.

Yeah I know the First round time limit is 15 minutes long and the first round as a whole last about 4 hours and the second round time limit is 10 minutes long and can be up to two hours long, but when the third round starts its only 5 minutes long and the picks come real fast.

I can say the same about any sport..... It's all about what you like. I myself like to watch the 1st few rounds. I like to see what new talent the NFL teams will be getting. But to watch the entire draft, I dont think I could do it.

I don't know why I like it so much, I just watched it at a friends house about 10 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. I would like to be a draft person like Mel Kiper Jr., I think that would be fun to do. I know most people don't watch it or don't watch all of it, but I'm interested in it and probably always will, just call me crazy.
