I'm just ticked that it's bad out and they had school here ~ no delays or anything. I JUST got back from taking my kid to school. It's a normal 10 minutes to and 10 minutes from trip, took me almost 45 minutes. The roads SUCK. I really do think this will mean I get the day off work tonight so that makes me sort of happy

I'm on a delay right now, and I don't want it to get changed to a snow day. If it gets changed, then my spring break gets shortened because we have to make up days. I actually want to go to school...OMG, can't believe I just said that.

1 more day won't matter here, we already will be in about 2 weeks late. I'm more concerned about the kids being out on the roads in this crap. And not to mention I'm still afraid of driving in it after wrecking. I work a half an hour away so it's an actual drive for me to get to work.

I call my friends: Nope, it's snowing too hard! I've been in worse I call my boyfriend: Are you kidding? Did you see how much snow there is out there? Two inches, you moron! So it's snowing, I'm not asking you to drive. You do live only 2 streets away from me. I can't walk to you house, it's too far You're on the Track team...  Fine, I'll go to your house No way! You could get killed! Okay, we have just established that there are going to be no cars on the road, how am I going to get killed? By the scary squirrel running across the road? Yeah, no one's going out much. |
