For the 8 p.m. half hour a rerun of 8 Simple Rules was tied with a rerun of J.A.G. for second place with a 7.1/11. Both trailed American Idol which was at a 10.1/16 for 8 to 8:30 p.m. (8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. it picked up steam with a 11.8/18).

For viewers 18-49 for the 8 p.m. half hour, 8 Simple Rules was second with a 3.8, behind American Idol's 7.7.
