I'm interested in trading for some British TV shows ~ drama or comedy, either is fine. I dont know anything about British TV and I'd love to be introduced properly

What is Man About The House?

I have a PAL/NTSC system and can tape in both PAL or NTSC and can convert from PAL.

Man About the House was a british sitcom that was transplanted to american TV as Three's Company.

"Man About The House" starred Richard O'Sullivan,a former British child star,who had been in "The Doctor" series,Paula Wilcox who'd been in "The Lovers",another British comedy,early 70s,and Sally Thomsett,another former child star,best know for her part as the youngest daughter in "The Railway Children".
Big hit in the UK and abroad,ran for several series until the tear jerker end when Wilcox's character Chrissy,married O'Sullivan's (Robin)brother!
It lead to two spin offs"George and Mildred",the landlords of the young people got their own huge hit,which ran until Yootha Joyce,(Mildred)sadly died in 1981.
Other one was "Robin's Nest" with Robin,with new girlfriend/later wife,Vicki,running his own restaurant,not as popular,lasted about three series.

how does your PAL/NTSC taping system work? Do you mean it plays either format or converts PAL to NTSC and then you watch?INteresting...For me, The good Neighbors is my fave Britcom...
