Why Tanya Roberts Left The Show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was reading the Sunday paper's Parade Magazine, and someone wrote in asking what happened to Tanya Roberts, and where is she now.

Well, apparently Miss Roberts left "That 70's Show" to care for her husband who was near death from Encephalitis. According to the article, she nursed him back to health.
I never remember reading anything about why she left the show.
Usually when someone leaves a show abruplty, you usually think they got busted for drugs, asked for more money, fought with producers.
It's too bad they never made an annoucement that she left the show through no fault of her own. I'm sure there was a lot of negative speculation as to why she was written off.

I agree...alot have been saying she left cause of money issues, but i guess thats not the case. Anyways i sure do miss Midge. I liked her better than that Joann charcter
