Just for your info. That surprised me actually! I thought it would drop to 40 or so. In December it was #25, which was good, but then the midseason replacements came in, causing it to drop to #34. But it's also not the top ABC sitcom anymore, due to My Wife and Kids..

I think the show's ratingsv will never ever drop. It seems to be one of ABC's newest hits...

I agree! i think 8 Simple Rules still catches people's attention and is still watched regularly! The ratings have to drop sometime, but i think that hopefully 8SR will be here to stay for a couple more seasons to come!

I think 8SR will be around for a few years, it is doing very well for ABC and my guess, although I could be wrong, but usualy Brand new shows in there first year are about mid pack in the ratings, just give 8SR a few more years to determine if its going to last or not. I love 8SR and I think IMO it will last about 5 years, thats just MO though.

It depends. If ABC keeps the Tuesday night schedule the way it is, and NBC's stays weaker, and possibly AI is gone, than I can see 8SR running for 5 years. However, I don't see ABC handling this show well in the future. LWB/LTP pick-up was a big mistake, and may hurt 8SR/JIM in the ratings.
