Five out of ten right, WingsFan.

Or would that be five out of ten wrong? I'm not sure.

6.) Who replaced Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show"?
- TIE - (Can we have a tie?)
b. Warren Ferguson*
c. Goober Pyle*
* Joined '65, immediately following Don Knotts' departure.

7.) Which character never left "Taxi"?

b. Jim Ignatowski

8.) Of these 3 shows, which had the most episodes?

c. The Andy Griffith Show (surprisingly)

9.) Which TNBC show had the character Sly Winkle?
(I defer to the bubble gum set.)

10.) Name all four of Bob Newhart's sitcoms.
  • The Bob Newhart Show ('61-'61)
  • The Bob Newhart Show ('72-'78)
  • Newhart
  • Bob
I'm not familiar with this George and Leo program that other mentioned. Hmm...Now that I think of it, the '61-'62 show I listed was a variety show, so I guess it doesn't qualify.

Okay, it's time for the answers. A little sooner than I planned, but I realized that I'm very impatient.

1.) Which workplace sitcom was NOT set in New York City?
C. Wings

2.) How many episodes were there to the sitcom "Welcome Back, Kotter"?
C. 95

3.) What's the name of the sitcom starring the late Freddie Prinze?
B. Chico and the Man

4.) Match the duo with the show title,
Oscar and Felix = The Odd Couple
Larry and Balki = Perfect Strangers
Joe and Brian = Wings

5.) Which of these sitcoms only made 97 episodes?
A. NewsRadio (Both Taxi and The Odd Couple made 114)

6.) Who replaced Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show"?
B. Warren Ferguson. He joined the cast in 1965, but only lasted a season. In my opinion, Goober seemed more like the replacement since he did more with Andy than Warren, but technically it's Warren. Also, Goober joined in 1964, following Gomer's departure.

7.) Which character never left "Taxi"?
B. Jim Ignatowski

8.) Which of these sitcoms had the most episodes?
A. Cheers with 275. (Happy Days had 255 / Andy Griffith had 249)

9.) Which TNBC show had the character Sly Winkle?
C. California Dreams

10.) Name all four Bob Newhart sitcoms.
The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978)
Newhart (1982-1990)
Bob (1992-1993)
George & Leo (1997-1998)

The 60's Bob Newhart was a variety show, so it doesn't count.
