Default In my opinion, This was the Funniest scene on Sanford and Son

In the episode when lamont was taking acting lessons, what made me laugh so hard was Fred's reaction when he thought Lamont was choking the white lady on the couch. And then Bubba had the same reaction as Fred, i was on the floor laughing until tears came out of my eyes. Anyone have their favorite?

The funniest scene of Sanford and Son that's my favorite is in the episode Superflyer where Fred tells that guy on the plane to put his cigarette out,and when he gets up,he says,"You Talkin' To Me" and then Fred says, No,no,excuse me,--tells the other guy in the seat next to him--,What's the matter with you, put that cigarette out??? And Fred says, Have a seat there, Moose.

And then in the same episode, Fred says he is having a heart attack and he says, "Oh, I Ain't Gonna Make It!!!" and the passengers look at him and Fred says,"What The Matter With You People,Have You Ever Seen A Person Have A Heart Attack Before??? Then Fred tells Moose, you can watch me have one if you want to.

Another funny scene is in the episode, "There'll Be Some Changes Made" and everybody from Lamont's sensativity group is there and everyone is chanting and massaging their backs and everything and Fred comes downstairs and sees it all,and Fred goes back upstairs and then comes back downstairs with a baseball bat

I saw the episode Stakeout last night-i can watch that episode over and over. That was my first time seeing it. You know that big cop that was living with the Sanfords wouls hae been a great choice when the Sanford Spinoff started. I just enjoyed Fred's insults toward the Big cop.

Another funny scene was in the very first episode,"Crossed Swords" where they are at the auction house trying to sell the porcelain piece Lamont bought. I like the way that Lamont made all them funny faces and stuff, pulling on his ear, winking, raising his hand to get the price up. When Lamont tells Fred he needed him to go over to the other side of the room, that was when the price was $1500,and the guy raised his hand then and Lamont promised that that was going to be the last time he bid. And then $2000 was said, and Fred making all of them funny faces and stuff. Hilarious

My two fav's are:

In episode, Home sweet Home: After Fred refuses the offer from the Japanese on buying there property, Fred and Lamont go to there house to speak to there father. When they walk in the house, the Japanese father bows to Fred, Fred doesnt realize this is there way of saying hello, so Fred bows to but he's really looking on the ground trying to figure out what the Father is looking for. Actually that whole scene at the house is funny.

Oh I forgot the other one I had in mind, sorry it's late.

In the episode that has Fred renting out Lamont's room to a pregnant woman and she goes into labor, I could not stop laughing at the scene where the bitchy nurse was trying to teach Fred how to diaper a baby and he kept standing the baby on its head and doing weird things to it.

Another funny scene is in the episode, "Home Sweet Home For The Aged", where Lamont wants to take a tramp steamer around the world, and when they are in the office of the old folks home, Lamont reads off the entertainment for the week at the home. Here's how it went:

Lamont: Look here, this week's entertainment. Monday Night: BINGO. Tuesday Night: Dr. Tolbert discusses the causes and cure of constipation.
Fred: Wednesday Morning: BINGO

"Hey old timer, what's going on"

"I'm having a fit that's what's going on"

The scuffle Fred and the other old guy almost has is hilarious - especially when the start waving at each other.

Later in that same episode when Fred is in bed reading Ebony and someone is knocking at the door.

"I dont wanna play no shuffleboard, I don't wanna play no checkers and I dont wanna weave no damn basket."

<knock> <knock>

"Would you go away - I'm smoking pot!"

Hilarious

I'm always one for sight gags, so the one where Lamont gets his own place & has that girl over, he puts on the music, trying to look & move all debonair- then *right* before he sits on the bed next to her, he flips the tail of his jacket up- his ass all in the camera! THAT *Killed* me & still does everytime!

Another one is when Fred has the party to raise money for bills & the next morning, Bubba falls down the stairs! I always laugh!

Also, I *think* it's the one where Fred tries to get Lamont to marry the fat girl for the 10,000 bucks. The scene in the kitchen when Lamonts eating & Fred 1st tells him about the idea...when the camera zooms in on Lamont's face, I'm on the floor cracking up!

I was always amazed at how hard Bubba fell in that episode. I rewind that part all the time.

That one is from the episode, "There'll Be Some Changes Made",and Esther is cleaning the house for them and Lamont tells Fred to say something nice to Esther, and Fred tells Esther."You're overly generaous, every time you open your mouth you show your ignorance. Then Esther slams the sweeper on the floor and says, "That Did It" and they swat each other and that's when Fred grabs Esther's wig and goes out the door with it. Lamont was laughing really hard on that one as they go to the close of the show.

This one is my favorite:

Fred is coming home from a date with a big fat girl, and he's all disheveled...

Lamont: How was your date, Pop?

Fred: We went to see a disaster movie..."The Sound of Music"!

Lamont: "Sound Of Music"? That's not a disaster picture!

Fred: It is when Jackie slips on a candy bar, and fell on me and an usher!!
