Colorized "Lucy" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Has any TV network ever attempted to colorize "I Love Lucy" episodes?... I have no problem with the black and white, but I'm curious in how "I Love Lucy" looks in color.

I know that "Gilligan's Island," "I Dream of Jeannie," and "Bewitched" been colorized.

The only episode that got colorized (from what I am aware of) was the I Love Lucy Christmas Special. Other than the special, the rest were never colorized.

Yep, there w*s the Christm*s episode where they coloured the new p*rt - not the fl*shb*cks though.

*t the convention in 2001 they showed p*rt of the colourised episode L* *t L*st - Just the scene from when they *rrive *t the Brown Derby to when they left - it w*s EXCELLENT!!!

Yeah, it was really COOL to see the Christmas episode in color, at least parts of it, if you buy it though, you get the black and white version, the color version was shown as a special on CBS and i copied that. The only other color i've seen is on the montage of clips at the beginning of the Columbia House videos, that was very nice to see also!

Pooh!! I never got to see one ILL episode in color *whines* oh well its for the best! I like black and white mostly anyways!!

Actually, at that convention they showed the ENTIRE colorized version of L.A. at Last. It was playing in the screening room.

My husband and I saw that - it was great. I wish they would show it on TV.

You know that when we finally have the entire series on DVD, they will colorize everything and we'll have to start all over again, for a change!
