Does anyone know where I can get a copy of "Job Switching," and where I can contact Desilu Productions for rights to show the candy factory scene it at a business meeting?

I'm almost sure that the Job Switching is on
one of the I Love Lucy video collections. I don't have all the tapes because I taped most of the episodes off Nick at Nite. But it must be on one of those tapes because they put the most famous episodes on the collection videos and it was one of the most famous ones! Check at a big video store like suncoast. Thats where I found all the videos I bought and between them and Nick at Nite I now have them all! As far as contact for permission, they are no longer Desilu. On the box it shows CBS and Fox video. Maybe contact them. I really don't think you would need permission to show it unless you were trying to make money off of it somehow. Good Luck to you! ------------------ Amy M. Weaver |

As for Desilu Productions after Lucy and Desi died... Desi sold his portion of the company to Lucille in 1963 (?), and Lucille sold Desilu to Gulf & Western in 1967/1968. Gulf & Western later sold to Paramount. So after Lucy and Desi died, Desilu continued as Paramount... and is still going strong! |

I didn't have a clue about the particulars and intricacy of copyright laws until I created LucieArnaz.com, running an official website, you've gotta be awfully careful about these things.
