Post Job Switching

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of "Job Switching," and where I can contact Desilu Productions for rights to show the candy factory scene it at a business meeting?

I'm almost sure that the Job Switching is on
one of the I Love Lucy video collections. I
don't have all the tapes because I taped most
of the episodes off Nick at Nite. But it must
be on one of those tapes because they put the most famous episodes on the collection videos and it was one of the most famous ones! Check at a big video store like suncoast. Thats where I found all the videos
I bought and between them and Nick at Nite I
now have them all! As far as contact for permission, they are no longer Desilu. On the
box it shows CBS and Fox video. Maybe contact them. I really don't think you would need permission to show it unless you were
trying to make money off of it somehow.
Good Luck to you!

(I know this is old, but anyhoo) It is necessary to have permission to show any clip or photo (or any image in the likeness) of Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Lucie Arnaz or Desi Arnaz Jr publically, even when money isn't concerned. Even websites. You must have permission from the estates to legally show photos of these people (but they have more important things to do than to be website police, lol). Even showing a clip at a meeting/conference/lecture legally requires permission. Images of the Ball/Arnaz family are held copyright of Desilu, too, LLC, while images from I Love Lucy are co-copyrighted by Desilu, too, LLC and CBS. You would need to seek permission from these people.

As for Desilu Productions after Lucy and Desi died... Desi sold his portion of the company to Lucille in 1963 (?), and Lucille sold Desilu to Gulf & Western in 1967/1968. Gulf & Western later sold to Paramount. So after Lucy and Desi died, Desilu continued as Paramount... and is still going strong!

My god your good. LoL. Your very smart. You really know the copyright laws! If you need permission, even to show photos on a web site, I guess I am breaking the law!oops! lol
Thanks for all the info LucieFam!

Ha, thanks! I'm a chip off the old block, I guess. I didn't have a clue about the particulars and intricacy of copyright laws until I created LucieArnaz.com, running an official website, you've gotta be awfully careful about these things.
