Question That's My Mama 2nd Season

Back in the late 1980's,our independent station(which is now a WB Station) in San Antonio aired That's My Mama in reruns. I noticed in the 2nd season that the opening credits showed Mama looking at a photo album and Clifton Davis, Lynne Moody, Theodore Wilson,Ted Lange and then as she closes the photo album,it says "And Also Starring Theresa Merritt as Mama".And the theme song was different too, Clifton Davis was singing that. I don't know why they cut the second season short either,I think that That's My Mama was in the top 30 for the 1974-1975 season and deserved at least a few more years.

Comments, please.

P.S. Is there any way that you can find the 2nd season theme music??? As in Wave Length on computer.

in the second season, the show That's my Mama had two new executive producers which probably explains why the opening credits was different.

If you can play wavs, you should be able to play mp3s. If not, download Winamp for free at http://www.winamp.com

All the That's My Mama openings, transitions, and ending themes are listed on the main site under the 'T' section.

I watched around 4 episodes of the 2nd season before I realized the Josh and Wildcat characters weren't on anymore. Seems like if the show continued they would've had Clifton's friend Freddie and Mama's friend Laurie on a lot more.

Josh and Wildcats should have stayed. Leonard and Tracy should have been the ones to go

I didn't even notice they were gone right away, so that show's you I didn't really miss them. I liked Leonard though for some reason. But they might as well had just left Tracy off camera. They didn't really have anything for her character to do on the show.

I never thought of it that way, but I can see that. Maybe they could have flipped it and make it about a mother always getting on her grown daughter's nerves.
