Default Maybe Lionel should have stayed with Archie

I know this sounds strange, but maybe Lionel should have remained on AITF and then ABP and only be seen on the Jeffersons once in a while, (which it seemed to be the case anyway). I agree with the post that he was much funnier when he had Archie to play off and perhaps that's why he never became that relevant once the Jeffersons spun off. There could have been many ideas to keep him in Queens, such as maybe he could run the Queens Jefferson cleaners, or maybe George could have bought into Archie Bunkers Place when Murray left and send Lionel in to deal with Archie.

The entire cast of the Jeffersons would have to stay in order for Lionel to stay on AITF. But Lionel's character still brung out the best in the George and Louise character. So he really didn't need Archie to be funny. He just wasn't used enough. Louise was only funny when she was in a scene with Lionel and George was funnier when he was in a scene with Lionel.

Yeah i posted this in the other Lionel Post. Lionel should have either stayed with Archie, or added a character to The Jeffersons that is kinda like Archie. Than Lionel would be funnier. Because fact is, Unles he was playing off Archie...I Never thought he was that funny.

What are you talking about? He was always funny when he was in scenes with Louise and George. I can say Lionel was not funnyn when he was with Jenny or her parents.
