Overnights:
Proof positive there is room for more than one successful show per time period was the 8 p.m. hour last night. Fox's American Idol (#1 overall: 13.0/18) remains the number one choice followed by CBS's JAG (10.8/15), ABC's 8 Simple Rules (7.5/11), a repeat of NBC's Most Outrageous Game Show Moments (7.4/11) and the WB's Gilmore Girls (5.7/ 8) all were strong. Sixth in the hour, as usual, was UPN's Buffy with a 3.6/ 5. At 8:30 p.m., ABC's once surprisingly potent According to Jim (#4: 6.5/ 9) remains hindered by the competing American Idol. |
