When Patricia Heaton took the role of Debra Barone on the CBS comedy Everybody Loves Raymond, it was far from certain that people would even notice her because her job was to feed straight lines to the star, Ray Romano. But then Patricia put her charm and amazing comedic talent on display and turned Debra into one of TV’s funniest and most beloved characters. The show is a smash hit, and Patricia Heaton has won two Emmy awards.

BIOGRAPHY: PATRICIA HEATON reports that Patricia has spent her life working toward the fame she now enjoys. As a little girl in suburban Ohio, she sang, danced and performed often. In college, she majored in theater and moved to New York City immediately after graduation. She spent nine long years in New York trying to make it as an actress and was past 30 when, frustrated, she left for Hollywood. She was on the verge of giving up when she got her big break – a part on thirtysomething. From there, her rise has been phenomenal. After years of struggling, Patricia Heaton is now one of the hottest stars in Hollywood – as well as a wife and a mother of four boys. Interviews include Ray Romano, George Steinbrenner, Raymond creator Philip Rosenthal, costar Brad Garrett, husband David Hunt, TV Guide’s Mary Murphy, brother Michael Heaton and other friends and associates.
