I'm sorry, but you're really starting to bug me. Ginger is an okay character and Tina is a good actress, but she's not the greatest thing in the world. apparently the new movie on CBS isn't going to paint her in the best light, and I for one am happy about it. She sounds like she's acted pretty snobby.

argh! here we go getting me pissed off once again! lmao! all u people who think Tina is dumb and hate her for turning down the gilligans island roles r just dumb to begin with! bob denver and dawn wells live in the past they havnt had a lengthy career at least not like Tinas see SHE MOVED ON TO FIND NEW WORK! SHE DOESNT LIVE IN THE PAST! CALL HER A BITCH WHATEVER shes doing the right thing as an actress. she went on to new projects she doesnt sit her and dwell in the past like bob and dawn and they r obviously obsessed with what WAS (gilligans island) and they r just pissed because they realised she moved on and they live in the past, thats why whenever they get the chance (ex. interviews) they bash her! its redicilous and everyone that sides with them are just as redicilous! think about it!

excuse me, WHAT CAREER? Tina has only made a few, not too popular movies, and her parts in them are not even significant. If you're gonna take her side, she blames GI for *ruining* her career, not because she's *moved on.* And I am not against her to speak of, I'm against all of you Tina fans that would take a bullet for her if you had to, cuz you're just irritating.

first of all u have NO IDEA how many films shes made! now do ya!! check out her credits on IMDB shes had more of a career then u could think, and so what if shes no MM neither is dawn wells or anything! and i could care less if u find me irritation because i find u to be one sided and totally

I certainly do know how many films she's made, not that it's any of your business, but I am majoring in both German and Film Studies, and frequently visit the Internet Movie Database. The fact that she's made movies doesn't mean that she's had a successful career. Anyway, she is a good actress, just acted like a total snob during GI, and just you try and deny that! She made everyone wait for her, always tried to grab the attention away, and insisted that a show called "Gilligan's Island" is a show about her. A good actress, but a witch in real life probably.

i corrected that because she HAS been in a lot of films. and i am def not trying o deny anything, i think she all the right to do what she did on the set granted it was not very professional of her I KNOW! but she had all the right, and i prob would have done the same thing if they screwed me over like that. and this movie airing tomorrow is of VERY bad taste! and nothing but a way to get stupid revenge trying to spoil Tina Louise's image.

Tina has been in 30 movies and television movies since the end of the show. Only one is even semi-popular anymore, and that's the "Stepford Wives". She has been in three series. She was in "Dallas" for a year, she was in "Rituals" for a year, and in "All My Children" for, amazingly enough, a YEAR. Dawn has, I must admit, done only 16 things since. Two reunion movies and a cartoon based on the series are among those. Also, one of her credits is four years as a model on "High Rollers". But Tina's roles in C-movies does not make her all that more important than Dawn.

I not putting Tina down by saying this but she was acting like she was all that during GI and I don't really think she was. She should of kept her head out of her butt to be a friend to the cast, like family and been their for the reunion movies. Tell me something did Tina ever go to Jim & Natalies funeral? I know she didn't go to Alans because last night on the movie it was Dawn who went only.

Ok it is just peoples opinions...no one has to get mad about any of this...you have to admitt TinasMyLife Tina was a lil snobby to the GI crew at first..But maybe it was just one of her days because like they said in the movie last night after the first couple of shows she was fine...So she had some days she was picky doesnt everyone!! I just wish that for once people would try and think like Tina for a minute, She was sold a show that was a lie, to her that is. after the show ended she wanted to movie on with her career like any professional actor would do, but she couldnt very well because most people don't see her as Tina they see her as Ginger and think, she was probably just trying to get people to know her as Tina not Ginger, because she is not Ginger! but when that doesnt ever happen, it can really haunt you for the rest of your life, luckilly she has been able to get one good use out of the character, and thats to communicate better with the children she teaches. other then that she just wants to be seen for who she really is! not a character.

I totally agree w/ the past few posts. I apologize if I offended anyone. I really just wanted to point out that Tina (and no, she's not the only one) has her faults. But I've got my own excentricities too, if anyone started to make digs at my favorite actresses I too would be annoyed, yet they are entitled to their opinions. But don't take it personally!
