Things I wished never happened on these Spinoffs.

(Laverne and Shirley)
!.Moving to California-Because it made it hard to do ccrossover episodes with Happy Days.

Shirley Leaving-Because those two characters were a team from day one and just having Laverne was pointless.


(Jeffersons)
First Lionel Leaving-Because he was the Original Lionel Jefferson from 71-75 and to bring another person in was ridiculous.


(Good Times)
Getting rid of the Dad-because he was clearly the Star of the Show. James carried the show for 2 years.

Not leaving the Cast the way it was-Because i think the show would have done just fine with the original characters. Adding new characters was a No-no.

I posted that back in february, that was before I knew Good Times wasn't a spinoff. I found it wasn't a spinoff in late March.

Yes, because it was still there to be replied to. That's the whole concept of posts on a message board. Since you've put the issue of whether Good Times is a spin-off or not in the same category of importance with the existence of God, I would think that you'd want to correct all posts written before you were so enlightened.
