I was watching the episode when Denise decided not to go back to college the other night. When the Cosby Show first came on the character of Denise was bright and intelligent but headstrong with her own ideas about life. That particular was a bit too far fetched for me. Most kids when they come home from college during the summer, especially after the second year there, they began to work toward something during the summer to start getting more solid work experience under their belt to put on a resume. It's disturbing how the character of Denise Huxtable went from being smart and bright to outright dingy. To drop out of school to work at a record company as a gopher for $25 a week. Hello writers you expect us to believe that.

And when she wants to go to Africa to photograph pygmies I was like........yeah....oookay could they think up a better excuse for her character to leave the show for at least that season? Who in their right mind would want to do that? I mean come on.
