I actually don't lose the remote that much. The one in my room is either always on my nightstand or on my bed. Sometimes I lose it in the bed but not a lot.

The remote for the living room TV gets lost at least 3 times a week. It gets on my nerves, cuz I can't be lazy!

Last weekend while I was sick, I had the urge to see what was on the top of the china cabinet. I was digging around and found the original remote from our TV. I hadn't seen the thing since about April of 2001, so it was a shock to see it, lol. So now we use this one and the one that we've been using for the past two years is on top of that china cabinet, lol. I'm gonna miss the glow in the dark numbers, but I'm glad to have the original back. It's like twice the size of the programmable one so it's kinda hard to get back into the thing.

Yeah, we lost the vcr remote for quite a few years. The first vcr I had, was kind of a pain in the ass. You could not just press the record button on the vcr, you had to have that remote to record anything. We lost the remote and found it some years later in one of my old Easter basket's. How the hell did it end up there? I'm still about that whole deal.

I lost the remote to my cd player. I haven't seen that thing since we moved into the house I live in now. That was 10 years ago.
I'm always misplacing the cable, vcr, tv remotes.

I have 5 remotes in my room -

*one for my TV
*one for my satalite system (which works the TV aswell)
*one for my VCR
*one for my DVD player
*one for my hi-fi

I always keep them in the same place - the first 3 next to my bed, the other 2 under the television - so I very rarely lose them. If I do misplace them it's usually only for a few seconds (I have a habit of sitting on them quite a lot! )

I have 10 remotes!!

*One for my TV
*One for my cable box
*One for my DVD player
*One for my VCR
*One for the surround sound

And well, I have all of those for the upstairs system and the downstairs one.... so that's 10!

And as Mossopp said, I usually sit on them

I lose my tv remote a lot, but not for very long. It usually just gets stuck in the coach cushions.
