MON---RICHIE ALMOST DIES
Fonzie prays for badly-injured Richie's recovery. A great example of the lasting friendship that exist between Ron Howard and Henry Winkler. TUE---SPUNKLESS SPUNKY Guest star: Dr. Joyce Brothers Fonzie's listless dog goes in for therapy. WED---OUR GANG Richie tries to convince Chachi not to join a gang. THU---MY FAVORITE ORKAN Guest Star: Robin Williams Fonzie battles Mork from Ork to keep Richie on Earth. Arguably the most important episode in the series' long history and the one that shot Robin Williams to superstardom. Trivia note: At the end of the episode, when Richie answers the door and sees Mork, acting like a normal human being asking him for directions, he goes crazy and thinks he's having a nightmare. Then Mork closes the door and thanks Richie for his help. It is at this point that the episode ends and the credits roll. However, I seem to faintly remember that when the show originally aired, there was a scene where, after Mork has closed the door, he stands outside the Cunningham house and calls for Orson, saying something about "Next stop, Boulder, Col. 1978" which effectively introduces "Mork And Mindy". Does anyone else remember this and why do you think it was cut out? FRI---????? I couldn't find any info on this episode anywhere. All it says is "The Cunningham family enjoys life in 1950s Milwaukee." That really narrows it down, doesn't it? |
