Senate Run - Rumour
I recently heard that Gary Coleman will be making a Senate run. Is there any truth to this? And if so, does anyone know if he is running for state or U.S. Senate?

Senator Gary Coleman? Mon, May 1, 2000 10:31 AM PDT LOS ANGELES (UltimateTV.com) - Gary Coleman has announced his intention to run for a California senate seat. The 32-year old former “Diff’rent Strokes” star told the Fox News Channel that he has not chosen a party affiliation, but expressed a proclivity toward the independent ticket. He said he chose California over New York because the Big Apple is “just too far.” Also, he wanted to avoid a competition with Hilary Rodham Clinton in a state he knows little about.
