i have 3 questions i hope somebody can answer

1)is it true that 20th century fox does'nt have the rights to wkrp in cincinnati?
2)is it true that no local station could air wkrp in cincinnati if they wanted to?
3)does one of the cable channels in the united states have the rights to wkrp in cincinnati?
4)i'm not even going ask if wkrp in cincinnati is coming out of dvd!

to tell you the TRUTH i would like paramount to get the rights to wkrp because i've been watching happy days reruns on wgn and correct me if i'm wrong but all of the music is original by the original artists except for the music that richies, ralphs and posties band plays, but paramount would even have to pay for that if its a
cover version of a song from another artist!
if paramount can afford to pay for the original music then why not 20th century fox?
i have'nt seen laverne and shirley for about a year or so but i believe all of the music is original music, again correct me if i'm wrong.
my point is theres no reason why WKRP IN CINCINNATI can't be released on dvd in the season by season format!

i hope somebody can answer these questions.

Here are the answers to your questions;

I am not sure who has the rights to the show right now but it airs in Canada on the Comedy channel and here in the states on WXIX in Cincinnati. There were rumors that it was going to come out on DVD but now it does not look likely, and if it does, it will be the edited ones. Your best bet to find all of the shows is E bay, where I got mine, as some people have all 90 for sale and the price is not too bad. I hope I answered your questions a bit more politely than some people here did.
