I noticed there is an episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show called "Scratch My Car and You Will Die." The summary for the episode says a scratch on Rob's car sparks a domestic crisis in the Petrie home. How do you think Ward would react if June put a scratch on the family car?
I remember one time, he implied that June had driven the car with the parking brake on. He simply took the car in to have the brakes checked. I don't know if he would have mentioned it to June except she asked him why he was late getting home that night. He was a little miffed with June because she taunted him about not dropping the subject of the window the boys broke playing baseball. |

I think Ward would be pretty steamed.......
He seems cool yet he goes CARAZZY sometimes...... Especially with the boys! To me he would be the type of man that he wouldn't let June off the hook. He would remind her over & over again.

I don't think I agree. Ward was capable of showing anger, and he might have said something, but the thing about Ward was that he was way above average. He was the perfect father and husband, and I don't really think he would have "gone ape." What I notice is that everything in LITB is "better than real life," so I think he might have made a remark, but I think he would have ultimately handled it gracefully.

Hmm, I'd say he would handle it rationally. He might tease her about it later on. Yeah.

I know this an old post but I'm going through some and replying and I just couldn't resist this one. Maybe Ward would just lose it like Ricky has with Lucy and just turn June over his knee and give her a spanking! LOL!!
