Definite Friends Spin-off - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Look, no body accuse me of poeting false information here. It isn't listed on IMDb yet, but there is going to be a friends spin-off. Some actor from the tv show Hollyoaks is playing Joey's younger brother, and the shows called 'New York,New York'. What does everyone think?
I think this will be a show that doesn't even try, like friends now, and just say any crap, and will survive ages cos friends fanatics watch it. If anybody wants this news article scanned, just say so/

I don't like Friends, so I probably won't bother with the spin-off.

Hmmm I always thought the spin off was going to be about Joey, but it looks like its not so I'm not really intrested anymore.

No, the sitcom does involve Joey, his little brother is in it too, to expand the sitcom and introduce new characters. I think Stacey from Spin City should be a cousin or sister, she's real funny

Why do we have to ask for the link? If it exists why didn't you post it to begin with? Sounds to me like you might be not only posting false info, but crapping on Friends fans to boot with your 'it will survive anyway because of Friends fanatics' remark. As if they'll watch anything no matter how lame.

IIRC, Joey doesn't even have a little brother. He only has sisters. Although Frasier Crane was an only child and both his parents were dead on Cheers, but on Frasier, his father is alive and he has a younger brother.

Be easy on him. I have read in a few trade papers that they were considering a "Frasier"-esque spinoff for Joey, where he moves to L.A. and starts a new life, but I don't think anything's definite.

I was thinking that too. That's somewhat of a big thing on the show, how Joey has 7 sisters and he's the only boy in his family.
