My favorite characters are in this order:

1. Marcia (sorry, Jan! )
2. Greg
3. Carol
4. Mike
5. Jan
6. Alice
7. Cindy
8. Bobby
9. Peter
10. Oliver

Note: It was hard coming up with an order for 6-10. I never understood how Oliver seems to be the kid fans love to hate.

I suppose it's easy to point the blame on Oliver for the show's demise. Speaking for myself only, it's clear that the show began to falter when Oliver came, although he is probably indirectly the culprit (at most). It's like a huge radar that goes off when a show brings on a new little kid--scraping for new plots and also attempting to introduce that "cuteness factor" that has been lost as the other kids have grown.

I actually like the series from beginning to end and when I talk badly about Oliver it is just for laughs. I don't doubt that the last few epsiodes were really weak, but I would say Oliver's presence during those episodes was just a coincidence. The writing is to blame: Cindy wants to be Sherley Temple?! Greg's hair turns orange?! And the worst, Bobby and Oliver think Mike is some secret agent. ??!!

Anyways, that's all for my first time I actually stuck up for Oliver, that little jinx. (let the favorite characters continue.)

Hey, y'all--lay off Oliver! I think he's funny!

My two favorite are Jan and Peter.

For some reason, I just cannot STAND Bobby and Cindy. They are just corny beyond belief! Bobby has the ugliest teeth on the planet!!!! And he gives some of the stupidest looks!

You know what look of Bobby's I hate the most?
In the episode where the Bradys think Sam and Alice are eloping, he is practicing the organ in the carport.
Jan and Marcia make a snide remark about his playing, and then he---OMG I hate this!---he presses on a lot of keys all at once to make this horrible sound.
When Jan and Marcia turn around like "What's your deal?" he gives them this look like, "Ha ha, I really showed y'all!"
By doing what? Playing horribly?!!!!! Oh, yeah--he really got back at THEM!!

Bobby's teeth in the pilot are especially horrible.

As far as the eloping episode goes, that's the one where Sam gives Alice "eight pork chops in pink panties". I didn't believe it when everyone was talking about it a month or two ago, but I caught this episode last week, and sure enough, I heard the pink panties line. What the heck is that supposed to mean? A friend of mine theorized that Sam prefers pork chops to Alice, so he dressed them up in pink panties.

Rats, I missed the pink panties episode. I was going to watch it with the close captioning and see if it would pick it up. What episode is it in?
