Like this episode or hate it? The first time I saw it I thought it was stupid, but I watched it last night and CRACKED UP! That episode is so funny to me! I love it when Ethel says "Lucy, this could only happen to you.

I LOVE this episode. I taped it this morning, so I'm gonna be watching it this weekend! I always love it when Lucy gets on the wrong subway!

Gracias! I saw it and had to use it. I also love that part! I also love the part where Ethel says she has never ridden on a subway in her blue jeans so she has to go change out of them, but then Lucy says "Ethel, with this THING on my head, I hardly thing anyone's gonna notice your blue jeans."

It's alright. Not one of my favorites but it does have its funny moments. One of my favorite lines is the blue jean one that BeaversBiggestFan mentioned.

Same here, it's a riot! Well, if i can go like this, you can go like that! Oh, for God sake don't call a cop, those meddlesome. . . . her scene with the newspaper on the subway train is one of her finest, a true gem! The ep falls flat at the end though, i get uncomfortable just thinking about her with her head upside down like that!

I just read recently that Johnny Longdon died. He was in his early 9o's. When I read the obit I thought of the I love Lucy episode.

I didn't even know he was still alive. He lived to be rather old.

I never liked this episode. I actually like season six more than season five, but this one just doesn't do it for me.

This is my favorite I love Lucy episode. Maybe because I use to use the subways of NY.

She cracks me up when she's trying to hide the loving cup and then tries to read the newspaper.
