Question Professor's Island?

Ok, Just wondering. I'm REALLY bored here (could you tell?) and I thought if it wasn't Gilligan's Island...whose island would it have been?

Would the show have been named something else like Professor's Island or Howell's Island? Who would have been the bumbler if not Gilligan?

I guess it just isn't the same without the little buddy.

Question

Who would have been the bumbler then? I mean in order for the show to go on and on and on and ON you need a bumbler to keep them there.

Skipper's Island...lol. Think he would have kept them there?

I don't know maybe Ginger's Island then Tina Louise would really have been the star.Even though I can't see everyone getting mad at ginger because she messed something up.

Cool

Scene 1 of "Ginger's Island" would start off with her messing up and everyone laughing...

See, if Ginger messed up, everyone would just think it's cute, and no one would call her a bumbler---cept maybe the Howells.

If they did do Ginger's Island the whole idea of the show would probably be different, it wouldnt be like gilligan running into things all the time for a laugh, i don't know what it would be! but i know it would be totally different!

Thats sort of what I was thinking because if she were the clumsy person on the island like you said they would probably think its cute because did you ever notice they never got mad at ginger.

Cool

Of course! I mean hey, they never get mad at the movie star, do they?

And I think she had a bigger following than Gilligan anyway. More guys watching the show to see her in it or to see Mary Ann than girls watching it to see Gilligan...lol. I'd say the professor, but hey-most gals watched it for him and there might be a tie as to why girls and guys watched.

There's an interesting question right there too...I think I'll post it in a new topic.
