Hi there,
I was rearranging my video tapes and wanted to know if they are more affected by dust or by electromagnetic waves such as televisions. I need to know in order to know where to put my tapes (in a spot where a bit of dust will gather) or close to the TV (which doesn't have that much dust but does have radiation waves). Please help! |

I've had at one time sit tapes next to tv or vcr for weeks without moving them (tv / vcr on and off) then watched it, no problem. As for dust keep the cover on when not in use only the box and what's the part of the tape that shown while in the box will have dust. Even if there is dust on the tape you can clean it and still play like it should.
