DREW GOES ON A CRASH DIET WITH DISASTROUS RESULTS, ON ABC’S “THE DREW CAREY SHOW”

“Turkeyspotting” – Drew decides to go on a crash diet and give up food cold turkey when matchmaker Larry Almada (Ian Gomez, reprising his role) tells him he’s too out-of-shape to fit in at an upcoming singles mixer. But the results aren’t quite what Drew had in mind -- especially when he starts to hallucinate -- on “The Drew Carey Show,” FRIDAY, MARCH 7 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. Denise Faye (Annie in the Academy-Award nominated film “Chicago”) also guest stars.

Please note: “Turkeyspotting” marks the 200th episode of “The Drew Carey Show,” one of only a handful of series to reach that milestone.

Drew Carey stars as Drew, Diedrich Bader as Oswald, Kathy Kinney as Mimi Bobeck, Craig Ferguson as Nigel Wick, Ryan Stiles as Lewis, John Carroll Lynch as Steve and Cynthia Watros as Kellie.

Guest starring are Ian Gomez as Larry Almada, Denise Faye as Susie, Kyle Howard as Evan, Jonathan Mangum as Scott, Kaitlin Olson as Traylor, Lara Phillips as Lacey and Ilana Salinger as Renee.

“Turkeyspotting” was written by Adam Faberman and directed by Bob Koherr.
”The Drew Carey Show” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
