Default Same old, same old

TV land schedule so far has no "new" episodes in the next run, once again skipping "A Small Mafia Favor" and also episodes 28-33. So far they have shown 60 in total but we have not seen 37 including the second half of the 3rd year and most of the 4th year. Lets hope they will get the rights to them all before it is pulled. I predict ABP will be off the TV land schedule once AITF moves over from Cosby at nite, unless they decide to show it together with AITF.

I don't expect ABP and AITF together. I really and truly wish they would show the rest of the episodes. I've taped them all so far. I'm not taping the eps now, but I will when they start showing the new episodes that they showed last time.

Idk, maybe I should be recording it now. I'd hate if all my tapes screwed up and I didn't have any copies left.

Well i get to record the Thanksgiving Two-Part episode with Gloria and Mike returning for a visit. I'm glad i found out because I never seen this episode. I thought the Mike Stivic character was no longer seen after he left in 1978 so i'm looking forward to seeing this episode today. Part one today and part2 tomorrow.

I betcha anything AITF will be back on TV Land in April, when Wings comes to "Cosby @ Nite" (lol, btw at that).

I taped all the episodes, minus episodes 25-26 & 27 (I think those are the ones, the two parter, Archie Alone and Home Again). I think I did tape Home Again, not sure. I'm definitely going to catch the Archie Alone episodes this time around, and then the last three eps they air (81, 96 and 97) I have elsewhere on tape, so I'm not worried about those.

I too, wish they would show more episodes, but we should be lucky even those new ones aired. I doubt we'll see the "entire run" of episodes again once AITF comes, but you never know what TVL will do. It WOULD be nice to see them air together, or air AITF and then continue with ABP, but they probably for sure won't do that.

Well going by the AITF episode TV LAND aired on Sunday, The edited version was much better than N@N and it woud defintely be cool to see AITF land on TV LAND. I was very impressed with the way they edited the Jeffersons pilot episode.

Glad you got to see part 1. Too bad they didn't show them together today, but at least they'll show part 2 tomorrow.

It would have made sense to show both parts together because tomorrow it may slip my mind to record part 2.

Write a note to yourself and put it in the most obvious spot that you go to a lot. If I were you, I'd tape it to the side of the tv. The note might help you remember to record it.

I hope it works for you.

I used to tape so much that I would go through the tv guide and circle all the stuff I wanted to record. I started to write on the cover of the tv guide all that I wanted to record. It is so much easier keeping track of everything that way. At times I won't pick up the tv guide and actually look inside it, but I will catch glimpses of the front cover and say to myself 'Gee, I've gotta record this tomorrow or this today.' It does work for me.

Can't you program your VCR to record the same program at the same time every day? That's what I did when TV land was showing fresh ABP episodes.

Yeah, setting the vcr might be the best plan. The note might not work and I'd hate to see you miss part 2.

Im taping them too. Chances are All In The Family will be on TV Land/N@N or Syndication a long time, as its a classic. But Archie Bunker's Place is quite rare, so its best to get them while you still can.
