Exclamation HELP! Need info, pics, links, title of cartoon

Hi Everyone,

I remember a cartoon (movie or series) where the characters where made of fire, ice, stone, sand, wind...etc. Could be Japanese. I don't know if they were the main characters. I have searched a lot of sites and message boards. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

It sounds like you may be thinking of "Captain Planet."

Hi,

No it's not. Captain Planet's characters look like humans. The ones I am looking for don't.

thanks anyway, hope someone else knows it!

I think the cartoon you're referring to is "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest."

Hey,

I looked it up and it's not it. The cartoon was probably from the 60's or 70's..not based on a game or vice versa. these characters had no human features.... hope I could attach a drawing somehow...maybe it will explain it better...

thanks anyway....hope someone knows it....

Was that a Hanna-Barbera cartoon? I believe I know the one you are talking about.

I'm glad you figured it out. I was racking my brain trying to come up with an answer.

Doubt it,

Here are a couple of sites showing pics of the cartoon, but not the characters I remember...although they did appear in a few episodes:
