Write a Happy Days story game - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I got this from the games board. Basically, we'll all write a sentence of a story that I'll start. Just a sentence. And it must always be related to HD. It has to have something of HD quality in it.

For example: "A Black Car ran him over" will not do. But..."A black DaSoto driven by Mr. C ran him over" will.

I'll start because I'm just special that way.

It was a cold day in Milwaukee when Richie Cunningham jumped into the kitchen to stop his father from throwing out a travel brochure.

"Don't try to stop me, Richie!" He exclaimed, slamming the travel brochure down on the kitchen table, "Siberia is totally out of the question! You kids and your schemes, I bet I know exactly who's idea this was..."

Howard plopped down into one of the kitchen chairs and stewed.

Howard: He wouldn't stop bouncing that basketball! all day, all night! bounce bounce bounce bounce! You're mother's hair started falling out! I had to do something!

"Come on, Dad, he's been in the closet for ages" Joanie sighed, rolling her eyes at her father's ignorance. Howard was about to protest when the telephone rang. Joanie reached for the receiver and answered.
"Hello?....Chuck? Yes, he's here, hang on a second. CHUCK, it's for you, it's...."

"Thanks Squirt." he said as he took the phone from her. "Hello, Chuck Cunningham here...What!...I can't believe it!...No it's impossible!" He continued yelling into the phone for another ten minutes and hung up. He turned to his distressed parents and siblings. "I have to leave for Greenland tonight."

"Whhaatt?" Howard, Marion and Joanie yelled at the same time. Chuck started to walk around, his hands gripping tightly his head, "That was not one of my inmmediate plans" said Chuck.

Infact, I was hoping to put it off as long as I could, but, now I can't. I'm needed there. You see, that was my boss on the phone, My partner and I have been ordered to go there immediately.

"Your partner? You mean...your boyfriend?" Howard's eyes bulged as he questioned his oldest son.
"You mean your business partner, right dear?"
"What job *do* you do?" Joanie and Marion exchanged worried looks.
By now, vehicles could be heard surrounding the Cunningham house. The door burst open:
"Chachi?!" Joanie gulped.
Without as much as a glance in Blue Eyes's direction, he barked the orders:
"Don't worry Chuck, I've secured the perimeter...let's go! MOVE!"
