Lots, LOL! I can't give you an exact number, but I do know that the first time he said it was in "It was Fascination, I know" when he was explaining to William Cambpell about how his career started.

Boy! This is a real test of memory! Eventhough I don't have the answer, I'm posting anyway because it's been so dead. (Not just on this board, either.)

I also recall "Ted Baxter Meets Walter Cronkite" (where Ted "campaigns" to win a Teddy Award). Ted wins, starts to make his acceptance speech and begins bawling. Finally, he composes himself:

"It all started in a 5,000-watt radio station..."

There was also [Oh, God. Kristen, help me out. ] "The Dinner Party" or "Two Wrongs Don't Make a Writer". [I remember the dialogue, but I'm fuzzy on the events around it to help identify the episode.]

Ted starts to bare his soul to Mary...

Mary: Ted, you're not going to tell me about Fresno, are you?
Ted: No-ho! [you know how he says it] I'm not going to tell you about Fresno <pause> where it all started in a 5,000-watt radio station."

I think that's in "The Dinner Party". Because that's when he tells about that Christmas party he didn't get invited to in high school. "Two Wrongs Don't Make a Writer" is one of my favorites, and I don't remember a moment like that in it.

Glad I could be of help! I'm also glad to finally see some activity around here!

Thanks, Kristen. I was having a senior moment.

I don't know if a lot of people are really busy lately (although I have been) or if they lost interest. Recently, I find myself reading a thread that interests me (no particular board) and by the time I start typing my reply, I think "Ahh, forget it," and I abandon the reply. Anyone else felt like this recently?
