Default What is...

...Lucy's most memorable moment? There are so many, but I would either say Vitemitavegimin or the chocolate factory.

I would say when she and Ethel were in the Chocolate Factory. In my opinion, that episode is THE greatest sitcom episode of all-time and of "I Love Lucy".

I think that the Candy Factory moment is more memorable than anything else. Another moment that deserves an honorable mention is when Lucy finally tells Ricky that she is spectin' in the Tropicana.

Vitameatavegamin, to do that, without cards, and make it look believable is sheer genius, but the chocolate one could be alongside it in a tie. The greatest Lucille Ball moment however as an actress would have to be when they bought Hansen's dress shop, watch the episode and you can't tell she is worried to death about the end of her career, having been accused of being a communist, she cried all day and was weak with little sleep and in NEVER shows in her performance.

Good one, i keep reminding people that tastes change and most people in the sixties and seventies thought that the ballet was the best scene ever, it was always Lily Tomlin's favorite scene and show of all. But nowadays, it's the other two mentionned above. If tastes keep changing, maybe one day Mame will be looked upon as a great film that showed her at her most glamorous! Then again, maybe a few decades will be needed for that to happen. LOL!

Nobody mentionned number four on the hit parade, STOMPING THE GRAPES? Baking the bread? Playing golf, Loving Cup on her head on the subway, showgirl scene on the stairs, pantomine with Harpo, i could go on for days. . .
